Sidr honey is a mono-floral honey extracted from the flowers of Jujube or Nabkh tree (Botanical name: Ziziphus Spina-Christi). This jar contains raw, unprocessed & non-pasteurized Sidr honey. The bees feed on flowers from wild Sidr trees grown in the remote northern areas of Pakistan.
Raw Sidr honey is a vital antioxidant and an antibacterial. Mixing this honey with certain herbs & seeds or consuming directly, enhances the immune system and promotes general health and vitality. It also soothes a sore throat and eases chest congestion.
It takes honey bees almost 37,000 trips to make half a kilo of raw Sidr honey.
